I'm extremely excited to see all of theses new innovative nail polish that have been coming out. These two are quite the innovation. I like that these are not glitter polishes. These are polka dots in a bottle. So I put my stippling tools aside for day and polka dot my heart out on my nails. I would like to try this over a french manicure.
Okay, now down to the nitty gritty. Lets talk about the difference between the two.
"Polka Dots" I'm in love with the color "Clearly Spotted" it's a clear base with black and white spots. This can go over any color. I like it so much that I purchased two bottles. The other colors I purchased all have a very strong dominate base color with black and white spots in them. I purchased this in four colors, but prefer "Clearly Spotted". All the others seem to have a haze to them. The color of the polish kinda takes away from the spots. In a way, the color tints the spots.
"Street Art" I am so excited for this addition. This is a great twist on, in my opinion "Polka Dots". This does not have a color base, but the polka dots themselves are colored. All of the shades from this collection can be worn alone or over a color. This collation is so much fun and I am enjoying all the creations and color combos that I have been painting.
The one thing I can say about both, is that they have a decent wear time. It all depends on how hard one is on there hands/nails. I do recommend a good top coat, it helps smooth out the polka dots and helps to make it last longer.
Would I recommend this? I recommend Clearly Spotted from the "Polka Dot" line. I recommend all of the "Street Art" line. These are so much fun and a new look to nail polish.
